Hey baby girl, I miss you so much. These months have been difficult without you. You have been such a great person and have made such a wonderful impact on my life.  We had so many great memories together, and there are great memories being made in your name.  The world is a little colder, and the sun shines a little less without you here. Sometimes one month seems like a long time, and in many ways this was the longest month of my life. Days seemed endless and I wondered if the pain would ever go away. In other ways I still feel as though it happened yesterday and Im still reeling from the news. One month, and Im finally ready to write and really record some of my own thoughts. One month ago, my life, and the many others around me in the NIU family, changed. I first learned what happened through one of my residents and I thought he wasnt serious. That was unill I reached the lobby of my building and things got real. I still had very little information as to what was going on,

Hey everyone!   My university is in a time of need.  The president just cancelled class today in light of some shooting threats going around and references to Virginia Tech.
